• Participate in building relationships both from a presales and delivery perspective within a client and with technology partners
• Participate in developing solutions for proposals of low to medium complexity.
• Describe relationship between design components of infrastructure planning
• Identify functional requirements for our area of responsibility
• Conduct and document user interviews
• Define simple, maintainable processes based upon a conceptual architecture
• Develop test scripts and expected results to physical design and be able to analyze discrepancies between actual and expected results
• Execute the proper software and/or hardware migration procedures
• Summarize data to include third-party provider packages
• Identify business issues via client interviews
• Participate in closeout of engagements
• Other duties as assigned, or required

• Server Consolidation and Virtualization (VMware, MS Virtual Server, Blade technology)
• Storage consolidation and data management including SAN/NAS and enterprise backup/restore solutions
• The candidate will be responsible for supporting sales by providing technical content and/or a subject-matter-expert providing technical content
• Strong documentation and writing skills
• The candidate will also be responsible for solution design and delivery including design, proof of concept, implementation, and handoff/training

• Extensive experience in the IT industry working in Corporate IT
• Extensive experience in customer facilitation
• Enterprise Server and Storage Solutions hands-on experience including conceptualizing, designing, proof of concept, documenting, and implementing
• Hands on experience working with Windows Server Technologies
• Hands on experience working with: AIX, HP/UX, Solaris, or Linux is a plus
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing storage solutions
• Hands-on experience designing solutions for server virtualization
• Backup technologies and Disaster Recovery Services design and implementation
