Our Professional Service Team is responsible for successfully deploying, integrating, migrating, and assessing technology within the customer environment. The ideal candidate not only possess hands on technical expertise, but also demonstrates the ability to successfully communicate technical and business issues with customers, account teams, and other internal partners. Team members must be comfortable working independently and executing solutions during mission critical circumstances. Candidate must possess a strong commitment to delivering engagements while providing a superior customer service experience.

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Install & maintain virtualization software (i.e. VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
  • Heterogeneous network deployments
  • Perform assessments on network environments
  • Switch Fiber Channel and Ethernet add/zoning
  • Heterogeneous SAN deployments
  • Install and troubleshoot SANs
  • SAN upgrades (heterogeneous, layered apps)
  • SAN Maintenance
  • Install and troubleshoot advanced software (i.e. AppAssure, Commvault, Doubletake, SAN hq, Secure Copy, Storage Center, Virtual SAN, SnapView/MirrorView)
  • Backup production readiness (software install/config)
  • Data migration
  • Escalated break/fix troubleshooting
  • Execute service delivery
  • Coordinate with Customer’s on-site facilities and technical contacts regarding readiness and delivery issues
  • Escalate to vendors on issues that impact the entire operation at a given site
  • Serve as the escalation point for technical deployment issues
  • Perform installations, deployments, maintenance and respond to critical break/fix escalations

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of related industry experience
  • MCP, MCSE, Compellent, EqualLogic, NetApp, EMCPP, RHCE/T, VCP, BCFP, CCNA, and Network+ certifications are a plus
  • Expertise in SAN, Windows, Linux, VMware, Brocade, Cisco, Force10, iSCSI, and backup technologies
  • Experience with data migration methodologies and tools
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule and react to business needs 24×7
  • Physically able to lift and move enterprise hardware up to 60 lbs
  • Possess a current, valid driver’s license
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and efficiently within a team environment
  • Provide leadership during “critical situations” and demonstrate poise and professionalism
